I read Marie Kondo's The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up in January of 2015, and I highly recommend her methodology. To me, her book is useful as both a primer on decluttering as well as an introduction to minimalism and learning to prioritize the things that truly make you happy.

My posts on my decluttering process are all tagged with "KonMari method" and can be found here. I have also tried out a few things that are not necessarily consistent with Kondo's philosophy, such as putting time into selling my clothes or jewelry on Tradesy or online consignment shops like Thredup or Twice.

I reviewed my selling experience with Thredup here. I reviewed my selling experience with the now defunct LikeTwice or Twice here. I was satisfied with both experiences.
